Janis Williams

Inspector Janis Williams has served Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District since 2004. Prior to her current position of Inspector, Janis provided administrative support for 15 years with the Administrative staff of the Fire District. During her time working as Administrative Assistant with Life Safety, she attended classes to assist the community with child safety seat installations. This program is still in operation within the District free to the community. Janis loves working with the community in many different capacities, from organizing events, to working with juveniles in the Fire Setter program, to attending school functions and organizing the department’s annual Fire Prevention Day event.

Over the last two years Janis has enjoyed working in the departments very busy Logistics Division. Currently, Janis is full time in the Life Safety Division working as an Inspector and continuing her education in Fire Investigation. Janis enjoys spending quality time with her family and her favorite time of the year is Christmas.
