Anthony Rocco

Division Chief Anthony Rocco moved to Lehigh Acres in 1991 and during his time has attended school at Lehigh Elementary, Lehigh Middle, and graduated from Lehigh Senior High School in 1999. Anthony attended University South Florida (USF) in Tampa for a couple semesters prior to joining the military. He had the honor of serving his country, as a Firefighter, in the United States Air Force. During this time, he was deployed to Bahrain, Saudi Arabia in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and to an airbase just outside of Nasiriyah, Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Anthony’s military time allowed him to experience and see many parts of the world that most individuals don’t get a chance to see. He has a strong sense of pride and respect for the American Flag that many Americans have died defending.

After his military service, he had the privilege to work for Clearwater Fire and Rescue for two years prior to being hired with Lehigh Acres Fire Control and Rescue District. He has served the citizens of Lehigh since January of 2006. Anthony is currently a Firefighter/Paramedic and has held the positions of Engineer, Lieutenant, Move-up Battalion Chief, Captain, and now holds the position of Division Chief. Anthony is a part of our organization’s Health and Safety Committee and a current member of the departments Honor Guard Team. He has been married to his wife since 2006 and together they have one child.
